We are extremely proud to be authorised Gammill dealers. We are the exclusive UK dealers and also able to provide services to other European countries. We stock many Gammill parts and accessories, a wide range of Signature thread and also provide Gammill servicing.

Not only do we sell Gammill machines, but we are trained in setting up the machines and we offer training on the general maintenance and Creative Studio software. We strongly believe that there should be ongoing support and training for all Gammill owners and we have a Gammill service engineers on hand as well as training programmes and Gammill retreats.

CreativeStudio v5.0

CreativeStudio V5.0 has now been launched at Quilt Market in Houston and will be available December 2013. The new CSv5.0 promises to be really exciting and really raises the bar for quilting creativity. It is an exceptional state of the art quilting experience with exciting new features such as:

How to upgrade to CreativeStudio v5.0

To upgrade to CreativeStudio v5.0 there are four things to check which may need to be upgraded - these are listed below. Download an upgrade information chart.

1. what operating system do I need?

When technology pushes forward and with new upgrades there are inevitably a few changes. Microsoft Corporation have announced that they will discontinue support of the Windows XP platform in 2014. All future CreativeStudio upgrades will only work on Windows 7 or higher. If you have a Windows XP then DON'T PANIC - CreativeStudio v4.2 will continue to work perfectly and is still an amazing and powerful piece of software. There are options available if you wish to upgrade systems so please contact us if you wish to find out more.

2. what mod controller do I need?

Only Mod A and higher are able to upgrade beyond Windows XP. If your controller is Mod 3 then you would need to purchase a new controller and computer system. If this is something you wish to consider, then please contact us for further information.

3. are my controller drivers current?

To find this out open up CreativeStudio then go to Tools > Technical Support > Controller Definition. Then click on the 'Galil Settings' tab and click 'yes'.

On the right hand column you will see Controller Version. You are looking for q4. Anything lower and you will need to to upgrade. You can purchase an upgrade firmware kit through us or directly through Gammill. This is something you can install yourself without the need for an engineer. Click here to order your firmware kit

4. do I have a current red key?

You need to have a current Red Key so if you have a Serial Port Dongle then it will need to be replaced. A red key is $250 but $150 is paid back once the dongle is returned to Gammill.
