Jitterbug Finished size is 56in x 72 in. This is a great fun quilt to make and we used one of our Thirties strip rolls which when mixed with 2.6 m of white on white background fabric gives a great fresh twist. Please note: this quilt requires the use of the Omnigrid 96 to make 2in half square triangles from a 2½in wide strip. Twin Stars This is the first of our quilts using half square triangles which need to be cut with an Omnigrid 96. A great technique as it opens up endless design possibilities! This quilt is also a little bit more challenging than previous quilts shown.The finished size of this quilt is Size: 52in x 68in and we used an Allspice Tapestry Jelly Roll from Moda. You also need 1.25 metres cream background for the flying geese blocks and 1.10 metres for the border (we used the same cream on cream fabric for both to give the quilt a bit more continuity). Our quilt kit contains all the fabric required for the patchwork top plus the binding. If you have purchased the Jelly Roll Quilt book, you will not need to purchase the pattern and we have therefore given you the option to buy the Quilt Kit with or without the pattern. This quilt requires the use of the Omnigrid 96 to make half square triangles from a 2½in wide strip. If you are using another make of triangle, please photocopy the template at the back of the pattern and lay it on your triangle to ensure you are using the correct markings. Daisy Chain A fresh and fun pattern. Using 30 or 60 strips created a better design as 40 strips made the quilt assymetrical. To make the quilt size (68" x 88") you need 1½ jelly rolls. You could however buy one jelly roll and 6 fat quarters which would give you sufficient fabric. Or buy two jelly rolls and use the excess strips to bind your quilt. Instructions in the pattern are given for the throw size (47" x 68") where you need only ¾ of a jelly roll (30strips) and again you can use the remaining strips to bind your quilt. Spiral Strips Finished size 60" x 60". You need 1 jelly roll OR forty 2½ inch wide strips the width of the fabric - 20 light/medium and 20 medium/dark. You also need 1.25m for border and 50cms fabric for binding cut into seven 2½ wide strips cut across the width of the fabric. This quilt used Moda's Folklorique jelly roll but we have also made this quilt up using Moda's Decadent Victorian jelly roll which looks absolutely stunning. Starry Rail Fence Our May Strip Quilt uses the fabulous new range, Sunshine by April Cornell. The pattern is a simple rail fence design with occasional stars splashed across the surface. Civil War Scrap Quilt Here is our March Strip Club Quilt. The quilt measures 60" x 84" and there are also instructions for a throw measuring 48" x 60". To make the quilt you will need a Strip Roll (we used our Civil War Strip roll) which contains forty 2½" strips width of fabric, 1.8 metres of background fabric for snowball blocks, 1m fabric for snowball corners and 0.7m border fabric. If you make the throw size you need one Strip Roll, 1.2m background fabric for snowball blocks, 0.6m fabric for snowball corners and 0.6m border fabric.
